This policy explains what information Meck Electric, LTD. (“we,” “us”) collects when you use meckelectric.com, why we collect it, and the choices you have. We wrote it in plain words on purpose.

What we collect
Information you give us:
- Your name, phone number, email address, and the address of the job, when you call, email, or send us a request.
- Details about your project or emergency, and anything else you choose to tell us.
Information we collect automatically when you visit the site:
- Your device and browser type, the pages you view, and how you found us.
- Your general location, such as your city or country. We do not collect your exact location.
- Your cookie choices, so we can respect them.
How we use it
- To answer your calls, emails, and requests, and to schedule and do the work.
- To understand how people use the site, so we can make it better.
- To measure our advertising, if you allow advertising cookies.
- To keep the site safe and working, and to follow the law.
We do not sell your personal information for money.
Who we share it with
We use trusted companies to run the site and our business. They handle your information only to do their job for us:
- Website hosting and content tools, such as Vercel and Sanity.
- Database and customer management tools, such as Supabase and GoHighLevel.
- Analytics, such as Google Analytics, and advertising tools, such as Google Ads and Meta, if you allow them.
We may also share information if the law requires it, or to protect our rights and the safety of others. Under some state laws, using advertising cookies can count as “sharing” information for advertising. You can turn those cookies off at any time. See “Your choices” below.
Cookies and similar tools
Cookies are small files a website saves in your browser. We use three kinds. You choose which ones to allow in the banner that appears when you first visit.

Before you choose. We use Google Tag Manager, and Google’s tags may load when you arrive. Until you allow analytics or marketing cookies, those tags do not save cookies on your device. They may still send limited information to Google, such as the page you viewed, your browser type, and your IP address, so we can count visits without cookies. Other advertising tools wait until you say yes.

Global Privacy Control. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as a request to turn off marketing cookies.
You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The site will still work, but some features may not.
How long we keep information
We keep your contact and job information as long as we need it to serve you, to meet legal and tax rules, and to settle disputes. Analytics data is kept for the period set in our analytics account. We keep records of cookie choices for as long as we need them to show that we respected them.
Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask what information we hold about you, to get a copy, to fix it, to delete it, or to opt out of advertising uses. We will answer within the time the law requires. We will not treat you differently for using your rights.

Children
This site is for adults and businesses. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you think a child has sent us information, email robert@meckelectric.com and we will delete it.

Our site may link to other websites. We do not control them and are not responsible for their privacy practices.

We may update this policy. When we do, we will change the date at the top. If a change is big, we will tell you on the site.
